The Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT) serves as the licensing board for MFTs in Oregon. The Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists was created to assist the public by identifying and regulating the practice of qualified mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists. The Board issues licenses to counselors, marriage and family therapists and registers interns; sets standards for professional conduct, education and training; and investigates complaints against licensees. If you have specific questions about licensing, please contact the OBLPCT at 503-378-5499. Or, you can also visit their website by clicking here.
