PRESIDENT-ELECT
The President-Elect shall serve two (2) years as President-Elect and two (2) years as President.
The President-Elect will conduct meetings in the absence of the Divisional President.
The President-Elect will serve as liaison between the Board and the Annual Conference Committee.
The President-Elect will attend Leadership Training provided by AAMFT.
The President-Elect will work with the President and attend to other duties assigned by the President.
The President-Elect shall keep the notebook current with minutes, budget, etc. and shall pass the notebook along to the next person who is elected as president-elect after the President-Elect’s term of office as Past President is finished.
SECRETARY-TREASURER
The Secretary-Treasurer shall serve a term of three (3) years.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall keep the records of all business meetings of the Division and of the Board of Directors.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall direct the distribution of minutes and reports as authorized by the by-laws and by the Board.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall serve as Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall oversee the management of funds for the Division.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall prepare the annual budget and shall present periodic financial reports to the Board and to the annual meeting of the membership.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall work together with the administrative coordinator in keeping all records and insuring that the Division’s accounts are kept in good order.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall train the new Secretary-Treasurer upon election to insure a smooth transition.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall submit to AAMFT the financial report required by AAMFT by March 30 of each year.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall keep notebook current, adding all pertinent information and passing the notebook along to the next secretary-treasurer.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBERS
The Board Members shall exercise all powers of the Division, except as specifically prohibited by the OAMFT by-laws and AAMFT by-laws.
The Board Members shall be authorized to adopt and publish such policies, procedures, and rules as may be necessary and consistent with OAMFT and AAMFT by-laws.
The Board Members shall meet at the call of the President and at least once each year, or at the written request of all, or at least three members of the Board directed to the Secretary-Treasurer.
Each Board Member is entitled to one vote.
Each Board Member is responsible for the region of the state he/she represents by:
Attending networking luncheons and supporting membership in the district.
Contacting members to learn of concerns as well as receiving news of members and their accomplishments that can be passed on to the members as a whole.
Each Board Member serves as a liaison to a committee, as determined by the President.
Each Board Member shall keep the notebook current with updated minutes, budget, etc. and pass it along to the member who is elected to take his/her place on the board of directors.
LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON
The Legislative Chair shall stay aware of all pertinent legislation that affects mental health issues in
The Legislative Chair will encourage OAMFT members to develop and maintain relationships with their Oregon
The Legislative Chair shall write articles for the OAMFT newsletter to keep members at large informed of any legislative activities or issues that are of concern to the membership.
The Legislative Chair will attend Board meetings on a regular basis or when requested to do so.
The Legislative Chair will attend licensure board and regulatory board meetings.
